Winnipeg, Manitoba (NHN)-Andre Burakovsky's power play goal 17:21 into the third period proved to be the game winner as the Seattle Kraken edged the Winnipeg Jets 4-3 Tuesday night.

With Logan Stanley off for slashing the stick out of Tomas Tatar's hands right in front of the Winnipeg goal, the Kraken power play went to work.

Ryker Evans slid the disc cross ice to a waiting Burakovsky just inside the right faceoff circle and he made no mistake wiring a wrister through Hellebuyck's pads to give Seattle a late 4-3 lead.

Jared McCann paced Seattle's attack with a goal and two assists.

Justin Schultz and Tomas Tatar had the other Kraken goals.

Joey Daccord turned aside 30 shots for Seattle, who moved to 27-23-11.

The win was the second straight for the Kraken, who bested the Calgary Flames a night earlier.

Kyle Connor, Adam Lowry, Nino Niederreiter scored for Winnipeg.

Mason Appleton had a pair of assists for the Jets.

Connor Hellebuyck made 20 saves for Winnipeg, who saw their modest two-game winning streak snapped.

The Jets dropped to 39-17-5.

Seattle got on the board first 8:45 into the first when Justin Schultz took a feed from Oliver Bjorkstrand and beat Hellebuyck between the legs from the slot.

The goal was his 6th of the season.

Kyle Connor tied it up 8:07 into the second period when Mark Scheifele fed him a cross ice pass on his way to the net which Connor snapped past Daccord, beating him glove side.

The goal was his 26th of the season.

Jared McCann scored a shorthanded goal 17:56 into the second period on a breakaway, beating Hellebuyck high glove side when Yanni Gourde found him alone in the neutral zone.

McCann broke in alone on Hellebuyck and made no mistake, beating the Winnipeg netminder high glove side to score his 26th goal of the season.

The lead was short lived, however as Adam Lowry knotted the contest at 2 with just under nine seconds left in the second when Mason Appleton fed him from behind the net.

Lowry beat the Seattle netminder with a low shot.

The goal was his 9th of the season.

Nino Niederreiter gave Winnipeg the lead just over a minute into the third when he redirected his own rebound past Daccord with his skate to make it 3-2.

The goal was his 18th of the season.

Tomas Tatar scored 25 seconds later to tie it when he deflected a Matty Beniers shot past Hellebuyck, knocking the disc out of mid-air to make it 3-3.

The goal was his 8th of the season.

The Jets put on the pressure late in the game's waning moments including a Neal Pionk shooting at what appeared to be a wide open net, but Daccord slid across the crease to stop the Jet defenceman's shot.
